Our Bread

The milling method makes an astoundingly sticky dough, but the bread is good.

Liz's Wheat

Another family has forwarded me their photos.

Thank you Liz for getting involved and I hope your bread is delicious!

Threshing and Winnowing

Harvest time. Jack and Charlie have been waiting for a little dry weather so we were out in the cold and wind this afternoon to cut and bundle up the wheat to dry! All the boys worked hard to bring our little harvest in!

They like to hide in the wheat and come out to nibble our peas!

This photo is of us searching them out, look how tall our little shoots have grown!

The heads on the wheat are turning golden, despite all the rain!
